Axel bernhard-larson

Axel is SVP and Head of Originations in Europe. Axel has over 15 years of experience in hotel investment and operations, having participated in more than €2.5 billion of transactions across Europe.

Prior to joining White Roan, Axel was part of the founding team at Stoneweg Hospitality and subsequent joint-venture with Bain Capital Credit focused on hotel investments in Southern Europe. In 2019 he assisted in the creation of a new hospitality investment vehicle of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity, focused on the luxury hotel market in key European cities.

Axel started his career at Faena in business development and strategy for the hotels, luxury residential and cultural spaces. He also worked for CBRE Hotels in London, advising institutional investors and hotel operators on transactions and strategy across EMEA.
